The Vaults - a series of 12th-century cellars steeped in history and full of atmosphere were once part of the medieval undercroft. Now, these vaulted chambers are home to Suffolk's most sought-after dining events.
Our Underground Supper Clubs with small plate dining, inventive cocktails and great vibes still sell out monthly, and are a huge part of Bury's vibrant dining scene. Monthly steak nights, wine dinners, live music events, and collabs are also in the diary. See below for upcoming events.
The Vaults is also open as a restaurant and bar every Friday and Saturday evening and for our legendary Sunday lunches. They offer an intimate setting for our award-winning food, crafted cocktails and memorable moments.

VAULTS x VAULT!
VAULT aperitivo have made waves in the drinks industry with their modern approach to British vermouth, amari, and botanical spirits.
We love stocking their products and can’t wait for this collab event.
A £15 deposit for the event includes your first drink, and expert insight from founder, and friend of The Angel, Dan Joines. Expect the usual Supper Club small plates and vibes alongside a very special VAULT drinks and cocktail list, and the pleasure of Dan working the tables with the team.

Following a successful event in February, the inimitable Lucy Winward from New Hall Winery is back to share her passion, knowledge and expertise.
New Hall produces some of England's most exciting wine, which we will pair with an exquisite four courses.
Lucy will speak to the room to introduce the evening before dinner, where she will work the tables with the rest of The Angel team.
Expect fun, laid-back vibes, excellent food, our favourite English wine and that unique Vaults atmosphere.
