A unique dining venue
The Vaults are steeped in history. These 12th-Century cellars are built from the same stone used to face the Abbey itself.
In recent years, we have used the atmospheric space for events that have had the foodies of Bury flocking. A short, but exciting refurbishment has been completed, and plans are bigger than ever.
You will find details of events below, with dates being added all the time. Keep checking in, and be sure to follow our socials, to make sure you're one of the first in the know - these events tend to sell fast!
In addition to these events, from January 2025 The Vaults will be open as a restaurant every Friday dinner, Saturday dinner, and Sunday lunch. Tables can be booked online.

Champagne Dinner - 11th December 2024
Our annual Champagne Dinner in association with our friends at Champagne Devaux is just around the corner on 11th December - and booking early is recommended.
The evening starts with a relaxed glass of Champagne as guests soak up the atmosphere of the 12th Century Vaults.
Dinner is a four-course affair, with a different glass of Devaux perfectly matched to each course. The evening is hosted by Devaux's very own Henry Hackett, who will chat through his pairings.
Our Champagne Dinner is one of the most popular events of the year, never failing to sell out. With The Vaults in full festive mode, the evening promises luxury, festive warmth, and lots of good fun.
Four course dinner with five glasses of Devaux is £120pp.
New Hall Wine Dinner - 12th February 2025
We are really excited for this one!
If you know our wine list, you will know that New Hall have featured heavily for the last year or so. Their Barons Lane Collection is listed in it's entirety, and their Bacchus, Pinot Noir and Classic Cuvee Brut have all made appearances on our "Special Pours" board. This winery in Essex is making astonishingly good wines, and the people are lovely too!
On 12th February we are holding a dinner, co-hosted by New Hall's very own Lucy Winward. Lucy's energy, passion for her product and depth of knowledge, alongside a luxurious four-course dinner will ensure a night to remember.
The cost for this event is just £85 to include dinner and five glasses of some of England's finest wines.

By reservation only, enjoy the atmosphere of a speakeasy bar with punchy cocktails, great snacks, and funky vibes.
We kicked these off with an incredible live acoustic duo, Jess and Dean, playing some soulful versions of well-known anthems. It was a great night, and they are back soon.
